Slack
One consent screen, and every meeting's digest lands in your channel.
Connect Slack and every finished meeting can post a digest to a channel you choose: title, summary, action items as a tick-list, and a link to the full meeting. Edit the meeting in meaty afterwards and the posted digest quietly updates itself — no reposts, no duplicates.
Connect
- Open Integrations in meaty and click the Slack tile, then Connect Slack.
- You land on Slack's own consent screen. Pick your workspace (top right) and — on the same screen — the channel digests should post to.
- Click Allow. You're back in meaty, connected, done.
That's the whole setup: two decisions, both made on Slack's page. There is
no token to paste and no /invite step.
What a digest contains
- The meeting title, date and duration
- The summary, formatted for Slack
- Action items as ☐ / ☑ lines with owners and due dates
- An Open in meaty.me link when the meeting has a share link
The raw transcript never posts to Slack on purpose — a channel is a feed, not an archive. The link carries people to the full meeting.
Automatic or manual
- Auto-sync (the toggle on the Slack card): every meeting posts its digest the moment notes are ready.
- Manual: any meeting → Share → Slack → Send. The digest posts once, on your say-so.
Use Send test on the card any time — it posts a clearly-labelled sample so you can see the shape before a real meeting does.
Edits follow
Rename a speaker, speak a correction, re-tag the meeting — the digest already in your channel edits itself in place within a few seconds. One meeting, one message, always current.
Changing the channel
Click change channel on the Slack card. It simply runs the same consent again — pick the new channel on Slack's screen. Your settings and delivery history stay.
Private channels
You can pick a private channel during consent. Digests arrive there too, with one limit: messages delivered into private channels can't be edited later, so a subsequent meeting edit is skipped rather than posted twice.
Disconnecting
The unplug icon on the Slack card disconnects and revokes meaty's access. Digests already posted stay in your channel. You can also remove meaty from Slack's side under your workspace's Apps.
