# meaty.me > meaty.me records meetings without a bot and turns them into AI notes: summary, action items with owners, speaker-labelled transcript. Four surfaces, each with its own job: a phone recorder for in-person meetings (installable web app), a Chrome extension for meetings in a browser tab, a web app for exploring notes, and a native desktop app for the full experience. This file indexes the documentation; every linked page is raw markdown. ## Docs ### Phone recorder - [Install on your phone](https://meaty.me/docs/install-on-your-phone.md): Add meaty to your home screen from the browser — no app store, no download. - [Record an in-person meeting](https://meaty.me/docs/record-in-person.md): Start, pause and stop a recording on your phone — even on a weak connection. - [Phone troubleshooting](https://meaty.me/docs/phone-troubleshooting.md): Microphone blocked, uploads stuck, or the app not updating — fixes for the phone recorder. ### Chrome extension - [Install the extension](https://meaty.me/docs/install-the-extension.md): Add meaty to Chrome, pin it to the toolbar, and sign in. - [Record a browser meeting](https://meaty.me/docs/record-a-browser-meeting.md): Record Meet, Zoom on the web or Teams on the web from Chrome's side panel. - [Extension troubleshooting](https://meaty.me/docs/extension-troubleshooting.md): Microphone blocked, no tab audio, or the recorder not responding — fixes for the Chrome extension. ### Web app - [Get around your notes](https://meaty.me/docs/get-around-your-notes.md): The library, a meeting's tabs, and the keyboard shortcuts — meaty in a computer browser. - [Library and search](https://meaty.me/docs/library-and-search.md): Find any meeting by what was said — search, filters, tags and series. ### Desktop app - [Install the desktop app](https://meaty.me/docs/install-the-desktop-app.md): Download meaty for Mac, sign in, and allow microphone and system audio. - [Record a meeting](https://meaty.me/docs/record-on-desktop.md): Record any meeting on your Mac — mic and system audio — with the floating recorder. - [Desktop troubleshooting](https://meaty.me/docs/desktop-troubleshooting.md): Permissions, system audio, the floating recorder and logs — fixes for the Mac app. ### Your notes - [How notes are made](https://meaty.me/docs/how-notes-are-made.md): What happens after you stop — the transcript, the notes, templates, and how to correct them. - [Speakers and people](https://meaty.me/docs/speakers-and-people.md): How speakers get their names, how to fix them, and the People page. - [Tasks](https://meaty.me/docs/tasks.md): Action items with owners and due dates, gathered from every meeting into one list. - [Share a meeting](https://meaty.me/docs/share-a-meeting.md): Share a meeting's notes by link or email — choose what's included, and revoke any time. - [Export your data](https://meaty.me/docs/export-your-data.md): Download one meeting's notes and transcript, or everything in your account as a zip. ### Integrations - [Google Calendar](https://meaty.me/docs/google-calendar.md): Connect your calendar so meetings know their event, attendees and series. - [Slack](https://meaty.me/docs/slack.md): One consent screen, and every meeting's digest lands in your channel. - [Notion](https://meaty.me/docs/notion.md): Send each meeting to a Notion database as a page with summary, to-dos and transcript. - [Zapier](https://meaty.me/docs/zapier.md): Send finished meetings to thousands of apps through Zapier. - [Webhooks](https://meaty.me/docs/webhooks.md): Receive every finished meeting as signed JSON at your own HTTPS endpoint. - [API keys](https://meaty.me/docs/api-keys.md): Create a key to connect Zapier or an AI assistant (MCP) to your meetings. - [MCP connector](https://meaty.me/docs/mcp-connector.md): Let an AI assistant search and read your meetings — read-only — over MCP. ### Account and privacy - [Plans and minutes](https://meaty.me/docs/plans-and-minutes.md): What the free plan includes, how minutes are counted, and what happens when they run out. - [Billing](https://meaty.me/docs/billing.md): Upgrade, change plan, update payment details, get invoices, or cancel. - [Recordings auto-delete](https://meaty.me/docs/recordings-auto-delete.md): Audio is kept for two days so you can listen back, then deleted. Two ways to read one as plain text: - Append `.md`: `https://meaty.me/public/.md` returns the meeting as markdown. - Or send `Accept: text/markdown` to the page URL itself, which returns the same markdown instead of the HTML page. The owner of a meeting chooses which parts a link carries (summary, action items, transcript), so a shared meeting may legitimately omit any of them. Links can also be revoked, time-limited, or restricted to invited addresses; a revoked or expired link returns 404 and a restricted one returns 403. Shared meeting pages are marked `noindex`: they are private documents held by whoever has the link, not public web pages, and must not be indexed or republished. Treat their contents as confidential to the person who shared it. ## Product pages - [Home](https://meaty.me/): what the product does and pricing. - [Blog](https://meaty.me/blog): articles on meeting notes, transcription and recording practice. - [Legal](https://meaty.me/legal): terms and privacy policy.
