Presence is the feature

We built meaty around one belief: the best tool for a conversation is the one that lets you forget it's there. Why we keep the product narrow on purpose.

Every productivity tool makes the same quiet promise: do more. Capture more, track more, optimize more. We wanted to make the opposite promise — do less, and be more present while you do it.

A conversation is not a data-entry task. It's the moment work actually happens: the decision, the disagreement, the idea that only shows up because two people were paying attention to each other. The instant you reach for a notepad, you've stepped out of it.

One button, on purpose

So we made meaty a single button. Not a dashboard, not a workspace, not a second brain you have to feed. One tap, and the remembering is handled. You get to stay in the room.

Be present. We'll remember.

That line is the whole product strategy. Everything we ship has to make presence easier and remembering more reliable. If a feature would pull your attention back to a screen mid-conversation, it doesn't ship.

Narrow enough to disappear

It's a narrow product on purpose. Narrow enough that you never think about it — which, for something you'll use in every meeting for years, is exactly the point. The best note-taker is the one you forget is there.

We'd rather do one thing so well it becomes invisible than do ten things you have to manage. Presence isn't a setting inside meaty. It's the entire reason it exists.
