## Connect

1. In the web or desktop app, open **Integrations → Notion** and connect.
2. On Notion's own screen, pick the pages meaty may use.
3. Back in meaty, choose **where meetings should land**:
   - If you duplicated meaty's Notion template, it's found and used.
   - If a **meaty notes** database already exists, it's reused.
   - Otherwise pick a page, and meaty creates a **meaty notes** database
     there.

The database has the columns **Title**, **Date**, **Duration**,
**Created_by**, **Tags** and **Link**. **Link** is the meeting's public
share link, filled only when the meeting has one.

## What a page contains

- The one-line description
- The **Summary**
- **Action items** as Notion to-dos, with owners and due dates
- The **Transcript**, folded in a toggle
- **Open in meaty.me**, when the meeting has a share link

## Automatic or manual

- **Auto-sync** is off until you turn it on. With it on, every meeting is
sent when its notes are ready.
- **Manual:** any meeting → **Share → Integrations → Notion**.

## Edits follow — with auto-sync on

With auto-sync on, editing a meeting in meaty updates its Notion page. The
page's content is **replaced** each time, so anything you typed into the
page in Notion is lost. Keep your own notes in a separate page.

A page sent by hand doesn't follow later edits.

## Disconnect

Pages already sent stay in Notion. Notion has no way for meaty to revoke its
own access, so also remove meaty in Notion under **Settings → Connections**.

**Troubleshooting:** see
[Integration delivery failures](/docs/integration-delivery-failures).
