# Library and search

*Updated 2026-10-20*

## Search

Press **/** or **⌘/Ctrl + K** and type. Results appear as you type, from two
characters on.

meaty searches, and ranks in this order:

1. Meeting titles
2. The notes — description, summary and action items
3. The transcript, including speaker names

| Type | Finds |
|---|---|
| `budget review` | Meetings with both words |
| `"budget review"` | That exact phrase |
| `budget OR forecast` | Either word |
| `budget -draft` | "budget" but not "draft" |

Accents don't matter (`reunion` finds *reunión*). Word forms do: `meeting`
won't find *meetings*.

In the command palette, three prefixes narrow the search: **#** for tags,
**@** for people, **~** for series.

## Filters

Filter the library by **tag** and by **participant**. Picking a tag and a
participant shows meetings that have both. Picking two tags:
*(To be confirmed.)*

To find tasks, use the [Tasks](/docs/tasks) page's own filters — the search
box covers meetings.

## Series

A series groups recurring meetings — a weekly 1:1, a client's sessions.
meaty suggests one when it spots a pattern: a recurring calendar event,
similar titles, or the same people meeting regularly. You'll see **Looks
like part of…** or **Looks recurring — start…**; accept or ignore it.

A series page holds:

- its status;
- a **Brief for the AI** — context meaty uses for every meeting in the
  series;
- follow-ups carried from one session to the next.

Creating, renaming and dissolving series, and renaming or deleting tags,
happen in the web or desktop app.

## Deleting meetings

In a meeting, **⌘ + ⌫** deletes it. On the phone, long-press a meeting to
select several. Deleting can't be undone.
