# Delete your account

Deleting your account is immediate and permanent. Nothing can be restored.

## First, download your data

**Settings → Account & data → Download my data** — see
[Export your data](/docs/export-your-data).

## Delete

1. **Settings → Account & data → Delete account.**
2. Type the confirmation word.
3. Confirm with your password, or with a 6-digit code meaty emails you.

## What's deleted, at once

- All your meetings — audio, transcripts and notes
- People, voice data, glossary, tags, series, tasks and templates
- Share links — they stop working
- Integrations — Google Calendar and Slack access is revoked
- API keys, notifications and messages to support
- Your account itself

## Your subscription

A paid subscription is **cancelled immediately**, not at the end of the
period. Refund for the unused period: *(To be confirmed.)*

If the subscription can't be cancelled, **nothing is deleted** and meaty
tells you so — try again, or [contact support](/docs/contact-support).

Stripe keeps your invoices, as required for accounting.

## What stays elsewhere

meaty can't reach these:

- **Copies others saved** from your share links.
- **Slack messages** already posted to a channel.
- **Notion pages** already sent. Also remove meaty in Notion under
  **Settings → Connections**.
- **Emails** already sent when you shared a meeting.
